We got something exciting to announce. We are about ready to launch a new video network on our site. YES, it will allow live streaming. YES everyone who performed a set and got it taped will automatically have their own channel. YES you will be able to sign up and add your own channel. YES you will be able to comment and chat live with others. The fully launched platform should be of great use to Stand-up Boot Camp, and it should be launched hopefully by the end of this week, but nobody is promising anything yet.

One of the great features of the platform is the ability to see how many people are viewing a video (or 'channel.' Think of it as similar to a YouTube channel, but with the ability to have a live stream on top of it.) Channels will be rated by viewers and promoted, so the more viewers, the higher you are on the list. A chat box will open up to the right of the video for general discussion. Feel like starting a podcast? Or broadcasting a show perhaps? It can easily be done with a laptop with a web-cam, or you can easily punch in a flip cam and set up your own channel with just a few clicks.
